Eyelash Repair & Removal
When it’s time to remove your lashes, we utilize a pain-free process. When your lashes are in need of a touch-up, it’s just a matter of time. Your natural lashes have a 45 to 60-day life cycle. When your lashes shed themselves, you will begin to detect gaps. If you’re a perfectionist, this will not be pleasing to you. Not to worry because 60 to 120 minutes is all you need to get your life back on track. If you experience a lifestyle change, you may opt to forego lash extensions for a while. We understand and rightfully so, have developed a sting free method for removing synthetic lashes.
Eyelash Extension Removal Process
We begin the process by disinfecting our hands. A cotton pad is gently placed under each lower lash line. Most lash salons use gel remover. We noticed that gel has a tendency to sting clients, causing discomfort. Taking heed, we employ the use of paste remover. It doesn’t hurt and is much more effective at loosening the lash glue bonds. While many lash technicians will use a spool to separate the extension from the natural lash, we have perfected a technique using angled tweezers. It’s faster and will not rip the natural lash from its lid. A lash spool is used to remove any remaining paste and glue. Lastly, the client rinses her face with water and is good to go.
How Long Do Lash Extensions Last?
Unlike your natural lashes, lash extensions will not replenish themselves. As a result, minor maintenance is required. Your extensions will last for the duration of your natural lash life cycle. Once your natural lash sheds, the extension will go with it. For that reason, we recommend scheduling a touch-up every 2 to 4 weeks. The time span in between appointments will all depend on your lifestyle, level of care, natural lash life cycle and comfort level. Some of our clients are more particular than others. We see these ladies every 2 weeks like clock-work. Others are more laid back and make time to see our lovely faces once a month.
Eighty percent of the information humans receive is through the eye. Within 2 seconds people have already made up their minds about you, simply based on your appearance. Research studies have proven that “beautiful people” speak less words per day than those considered to be asymmetrical. Lash extensions work wonders for people in sales. Touch-ups allow you to save money because you’re not allocating funds for a new set. You’re simply paying for fill-ins. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While that may be true, it’s your body, your time and your money. You have the final say about your look and the message that you want to convey.
